PMLD Teaching Assistant - Lambeth, London

SANZA Teaching Agency are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a student with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) needs.

The position would be based in a small independent SEN school with lovely working ethos, lovely staff and lovely students. The school is based close to local train stations and amenities and a big part of the local community. The school has excellent facilities specifically for SEN students to provide sensory/therapeutic support and also offers excellent staff training.

If successful for this role you would be placed working 1:1 with a PMLD student who is non-verbal and has physical disabilities.

Experience working within an SEN school would be preferable but not essential - however working with SEN students, in general, would be essential for this position. You must also be open to, or experienced with, personal care and manual handling. The biggest challenges always reap the biggest reward, and this job will encapsulate that cliche!

You will need a clean Enhanced DBS within the last year (or on the update service) to be eligible for this role
