SEND Teaching Assistants

Tradewind Recruitment Leicester are currently looking for a number of qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants in and around the Loughborough area. Successful candidates will have experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The roles will be situated within mainstream or SEND schools, dependent upon your skill set, experience and requirements.

The successful teaching assistant will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment

Experience supporting some of the following would be advantageous:

ADHD

Asperger Syndrome

Autism (ASD)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

Challenging Behaviour

Dyslexia

Epilepsy

Global Development Delay (GDD)

Hearing Impairment (HI)

Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)

Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)

Speech and Language Disorder

Severe learning difficulties
