Tradewind are currently seeking a Senior Administrator in Chorley on a fixed term contract until July 2024. The role is to start as soon as possible, with a salary of £22,369 - £26,845 + excellent benefits.
As a Senior Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of an alternative provision school, catering to pupils aged 8-18 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.
- Admin Duties: Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative tasks, including school finance, health and safety compliance, and SIMS experience is highly desirable.
- Office Management: You will be in charge of managing the school's office, handling meeting and diary management, and providing essential support to the Head Teacher.
- HR Administration: Efficiently manage HR administration tasks, ensuring all personnel records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Payroll Oversight: You will be responsible for checking payroll with attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Reception: Be actively involved in running the school's reception, offering a warm and welcoming environment for visitors.
- File Management: Maintain precise and organised files to support the efficient functioning of the school.
- Prior experience in school administration, ideally with SIMS experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of the unique challenges faced by pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
