About the School

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently recruiting for a small Ofsted Outstanding SEN provision in Brent. This role is ideal for a Primary Trained Teacher with experience working with children with Autism, ready to start a full-time role in September 2024 or sooner.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An excellent, engaging, and reflective classroom practitioner.
  • Good knowledge of SEN, particularly ASD/complex needs.
  • Able to assess, plan, resource, and review the needs of children in line with their EHCP.
  • Able to motivate, enthuse, engage, and inspire pupils through an engaging Autism-specific curriculum.
  • Skilled in developing strategies that enhance the wellbeing of children with ASD.
  • Effective communicator with parents, pupils, and colleagues.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Flexible, a good team player, and committed to the school's values and mission statement.
  • A dedicated, caring professional who wants to be part of a happy and successful team.

You Must Be:

  • Patient and understanding.
  • A qualified Teacher with QTS.
  • Supportive of the classroom teacher with strong classroom management skills.
  • Empathetic towards pupils with learning difficulties.
  • Flexible in teaching styles to adapt to each individual.
  • Confident working with both groups and 1:1.
  • Able to liaise effectively with parents and colleagues.
