About the Role - Spanish Teacher - Newham, East London
*A year long contract from September 2019 to July 2020 available on either a fixed-term contract or long-term supply cover through Tradewind Recruitment teaching both Key Stage 3 & 4. You must be able to teach Spanish up to GCSE level.
*Tradewind are looking to appoint someone who will inspire and enthuse students, delivering an enriched curriculum. A strong, enthusiastic, energetic and creative practitioner with outstanding potential to join our already high quality English team.
*The person appointed will be committed to outstanding Teaching and Learning, inspiring the students to reach their full potential and therefore raising student attainment. You must have up to date knowledge of the curriculum and pastoral issues and clear ideas on how to meet the needs of the students in these subjects.
*You will be responsible to plan lessons and schemes of work and to develop the full potential of every student. You will also promote students independence and control over their own learning and recognise and develop as wide variety of practical, oral , personal , social and academic skills.
*To be a form tutor and play a full part in the support of students.
*In Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), all teachers have an excellent knowledge of their subject and deliver high-quality interactive lesson that are aimed at developing resilience and independence in students of all abilities. French and Spanish are both taught at school.
