Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school based in Warrington. The school provides education for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs and those pupils who are disengaged from education or have attachment needs.

The post is required to start in September on a long term basis with the opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for:
· An experienced teaching assistant who can work across all year groups providing support and knowledge to students with additional needs such as ADD
· Good knowledge of English and Maths
. An individual who can work closely with students individually and in small groups who require additional support to reach their full academic potential
· A team player who will work with colleagues to ensure that the department continues to provide an outstanding education to its children
. A background in either Sports Coaching, Youth Work, Care work, Military, or a recent graduate keen to explore a career in the education sector
. A calm and nurturing demeanour to ensure effective management of challenging situations that may arise

You will be fully supported with de-escalation strategies and undertake relevant safeguarding training.
