We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join this dedicated and friendly team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our new Additional Resource Provision designed for up to 10 students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and a diagnosis of Autism. The provision is equipped with state-of-the-art resources, and you will work alongside a dedicated team, including two experienced Teaching Assistants, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), and the support of our committed SENCO.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with Autism.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team, Teaching Assistants, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning styles of students within the provision.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to implement and review EHCPs, ensuring that each student receives appropriate support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Special Educational Needs and experience working with students with Autism.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
