The role starts in September 2020 and is a full time post for the full academic year. The school would be able to offer a salary between £135 and £215 per day depending on experience.



The Teacher would:

· Work with pupils with learning difficulties who have sensory impairment

· Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can

· Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn

· Support pupils with communication skills

· Helping pupils develop their senses and their physical abilities



Classroom:

· Experience working with Special Educational Needs (preferably SLD)

· Experience in using PECS in their lesson plans and writing IEP's

· 6 Pupils with 4 Support staff and 1 HLTA in the classroom

· Subject knowledge of P Scales desired

· Knowledge of teaching range Ks1 and Ks2

· Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive



The Teacher will be required to teach students who are on P Scales on the national curriculum across Key Stage 2.



The school is in Hackney, there is a good number of local transport services that run to the school including the overground and local buses. The school has local green areas that the pupils usually use in the summer.

* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
