SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER

SHORT-TERM CONTRACT

ASAP START UNTIL END JULY

£200- £250 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting a special needs teacher for a short- term contract on behalf of a wonderful special needs school in Hillingdon.

The role is to start as soon as possible until end of July 2024. There is the possibility/option of extension of the role from September and it would also include an English TLR for the right candidate.

The role will be teaching a class of 7 students aged 12- 16 years. There are 3 learning support assistants in each class.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The school caters for students aged 7-19 with special needs. They cater to students with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders.

  • Must have experience as a special needs teacher
  • A calming and empathetic nature
  • Must be adaptable and able to hit-the-ground-running
  • Patient and understanding
  • Have a genuine desire to impact the development of young people with special needs
