Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Special Educational Needs TA - Beaconsfield - Immediate Start Required - Long-term contact role - £80 to £100 per day

Do you have experience teaching students with SEMH? Looking for a new challenge in a mainstream school in the heart of Beaconsfield?

If you answered yes to the above questions, we would like to hear from you. We have been working with this co-education oversubscribed school for over 4 years, we have helped the school throughout the recruitment process from securing a new headteacher for the school through to assisting with site management staff.

***Special Needs TA/LSA - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire - £80 to £100 per day, the rate depends on experience

***Immediate start, if you have a notice period, we can wait! Long-term contract, very likely to go permanent for the right candidate

About the School - Special Needs Teaching Assistant

You will be working with and supporting students aged 11-18 with a diagnosis of physical, medical, sensory needs and/or moderate learning difficulties. Previous experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs is desirable. You will assist the class teacher with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour and help ensure that children are making good progress in the classroom. You will promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils with a flexible approach to learning and a positive, friendly, and understanding attitude towards children and young people with complex needs.

  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Hold a current DBS or be willing to go through the DBS process.
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people in schools or care settings is desirable.
