Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA) who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND) to start ASAP at a one and a half form primary school in Walsall.

This role is to work in small groups across KS2 with pupils who have a variety of needs such as ASD, ADHD, Speech and language & global delay. The school is based in a deprived area and so the school are looking for a compassionate, understanding and adaptable individual to fit into this team. Experience with SEND is essential for this role.

The successful SEND TA / SEND LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties mentioned and EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

This is initially a fixed term contract but there is the opportunity for a permanent position with the school for the right candidate. The role is full time (8:30am - 3:30pm) so the school are looking for someone that can commit to this as continuity is of the utmost importance for these pupils.
