Tradewind are currently supporting our secondary school in Haringey with their need for a ELKLAN trained Speech & Language Assistant.
Elklan is nationally recognised and accredited training for professionals in the field of Speech & Language. Speech and Language Support for 11-16s provides secondary school staff with new approaches and strategies to help them maximise young people's speech, language and communication potential.
Our school in Haringey are looking for qualified support workers and Teaching Assistant with this qualification to start after half term on a long term basis. Salary expectations are £80-85 per day.
The school is large girls school, the highest performing for 2018/19 and remains consistently high performing. A real community school and staple of Haringey they are proudly multi-cultural with a diverse and ambitious population.
The school is walking distance from the overground station and there is also a school carpark.
Essential requirements:
Qualified with ELKLAN
Experience supporting speech & language
Previous TA, LSA or support work within a school or other child related experience.
Strong in English Literature and/or Language.
Open-minded, positive and friendly approach.
A caring and professional manner.
Must have legal right to work in the UK.
