On behalf of one of our client school, Tradewind are recruiting Sports Graduates (sports coaching or sports related degree) to support children in school with behavioral needs. Your energy and valuable skills and enthusiasm will help bring children back on track and minimize disruption to learning. We are looking for graduates who are motivated, energetic and passionate about making a difference for children in Education. You will need to be a strong role model, be empathetic and able to understand the child's background. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Sports Graduate to develop their experience in the classroom, and further and interest in a career in education.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting a Year 2 boy daily throughout lessons and the school day
Mentoring and coaching behaviour
Working alongside the class teacher and other professionals to support progress
Being responsible for safeguarding of students in your care
The ideal candidate:
Be a motivated, enthusiastic and energetic
Be a Sports Graduate or come from a coaching background
Be available full time - 5 full days a week (8.30-4)
Be able to travel to the school in Tameside
For those without direct school or child-based, full training will be provided within our TA school by experienced education professionals, which aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful in this roles. In your role, you would be fully supported by Tradewind and senior leaders at the school.
To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you must:
Provide a CV covering employment history over the last 10 years with any gaps explained
Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
Have a right to work in the UK
