Tradewind is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in the progress and achievement of pupils in either a KS1 or KS2 class within 'Outstanding' and 'Good' schools in Greater Manchester. This position is available for an immediate start on a part-time basis and will extend until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of an extension contingent upon your performance.

The competitive pay rate for this role ranges between £150 and £210 per day, depending on experience, with a requirement for the remainder of the academic year.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

The successful teacher will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-achieving KS1/KS2 class. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: * Crafting engaging lessons aligned with National Curriculum standards and supporting the school's creative curriculum * Understanding age-related expectations for children within KS1/KS2, and appropriately scaffolding and stretching to optimize educational outcomes for individual pupils * Maintaining up-to-date records of data and analyzing to identify areas for reteaching and bridge learning gaps while upholding high attainment levels * Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect * Collaborating effectively with Teaching Assistants, key stage, and wider staff to share insights, resources, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Strong references validating previous experience in KS1/KS2 (preferably in both)
  • A comprehensive CV detailing the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained
  • Authorization to work in the UK

All candidates must be prepared to provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
