Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for experienced support workers and carers to work at our special needs schoolS in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The roles are in the capacity of working as teaching assistants within the schools and are on a supply basis. Our client schools are established SEN schools that require candidates with understanding and experience of supporting young people with learning difficulties and engage their learners with BESD, PMLD and Autism.

Schools are within easy reach of public transport around Bristol, Kingswood, Fishponds, Knowle and as well as being accessible through buses from Keynsham and Warmley.

• A strong understanding of learning difficulties
• Experience of supporting young people with physical disabilities as well as emotional and behavioural.

Location: Bristol & South Glos

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

 Have experience and confidence of working with behavioural, social, and emotional difficulties in a care setting, as well as willingness to provide personal care as an when needed.

 This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

 Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

 You must have the legal right to work in the UK
