Position: Boosters Teacher (Key Stage 2)

About Us: We are a small trust of primary schools in the Sheffield area, committed to providing high-quality education and tailored support to our students. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Boosters Teacher to work with Key Stage 2 (KS2) children across our schools. This role involves travelling between different schools within our trust, with a focus on providing targeted support to help students achieve their full potential.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Boosters Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering focused educational support to KS2 students who require additional assistance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering booster sessions in literacy and numeracy to small groups of KS2 students.
  • Working closely with classroom teachers to identify students' learning needs and create tailored intervention plans.
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborating with teachers and school leadership to share best practices and strategies for student support.
  • Traveling to different schools within the trust on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience working with Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ideally, you should be a driver with access to a vehicle, as the role requires travelling between schools.
