Are you a reliable, dedicated, and engaging teacher of Computing seeking work from Easter?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a selective 11 to 19 secondary school in Colchester to assist them in finding a qualified teacher of Computing to join their hard-working team of staff. The school can consider specialists in ICT or Computer Science. The successful Computing teacher will be expected to teach the curriculum to impeccably behaved students, preferably up to KS5. If you are happy to take on a little KS3 Maths this too would be advantageous.

The successful Computing Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of ICT/Computer Science lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role.
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging ICT/Computer Science lessons and set high expectations.
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
A positive and personable role model for their class.

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
Hold a degree in Computing or closely related subject.
Three reasonable A Level results, preferably in Computing or related subjects.
Good GCSE results, especially within ICT/Computer Science.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
