*This Secondary School is a recently "Good" Ofsted school and therefore not expecting Ofsted any time soon.
*In recent years, the school has gone on an interesting journey and rapidly improved, with bettering results, it is a very exciting time to join the school.
*Design and Technology is a successful and popular subject within the school, attracting consistently high student numbers at KS4.
*The department is well resourced in a dedicated separate block containing 5 specialist Design and Technology classrooms.
*In addition, there are design technicians who support teachers and students in lessons as well as managing and preparing resources.
*The successful candidate will have access to Continuous Professional Development through the inclusive CPD programme they run, both internally and externally.
About the Teacher - Teacher of Design and Technology - Barnet, North West London
*The school are looking for a passionate design and technology teacher to thrive in their creative Design and Technology environment by teaching Design and Technology students from KS3 to KS5.
*The joining candidate will have the opportunity for additional responsibility if they are suitable for this.
*The ideal teacher will be UK trained or have recent experience teaching Design and technology in the UK.
*The successful teacher must also hold Qualified Teacher Status, QTS.
*At KS3 students have 2 lessons over 2 weeks.
*At KS4 students can choose their own pathway for GCSE which included Product Design, Resistant Materials and 3D Designs.
