Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Teacher of English position in Barking & Dagenham, with the successful applicant to join a supportive and successful school in the first month of 2024. The School are returning to the academic year following an exceptional set of results at GCSE Level, and are enthusiastic to build on this in the coming months. The successful English department are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of English to join their department for the next two thirds of the year.

The role

  • Teaching classes between Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Teaching both English Literature and Language.
  • Joining a successful and supportive English department, with a welcoming and experienced Head of Department.
  • Pay is in line with Inner London Teacher's Pay Scale* updated Sept 2023
  • Working hours: 8.30-4pm
  • Role commencing January 2024
  • Full-Time, 5 days per week
