Tradewind are recruiting for a Food and Textiles teacher who is able to start in a thriving and supportive school based in Redbridge, this is located in East London from September 2021.
This is a large Catholic comprehensive school situated in the London Borough of Redbridge. Ofsted have ranked them as 'outstanding'.
Tradewind are looking for a strong teacher of Food & Textiles to work within a very successful Home Economics Department. The HE Department offers BTEC Home Cooking Skills, GCSE Food Technology and Food Technology at A level. The Head of Department achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level and all classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards. You will be joining a successful, well-structured department. The Food and Textiles Department boasts a range of state of the art facilities. Food and Textile is taught at year 8, 9, 10, 11 and to A-levels
The ideal Food and Textiles teacher will be committed, positive and a versatile teacher to join their successful department. This is a medium size mixed school. This school prides themselves on creating a positive and respectful learning environment. It also offers extra free training in school, CPD training is also taking place where staff can get involved. This school offer a range of professional development opportunities
This client is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Textiles specialist with the ability to teach across all of the Key Stages. Passionate about Food and Textiles with excellent subject knowledge. Ambitious and committed to the very highest standards of student learning. Keen to challenge and enthuse our diverse student population. An excellent classroom practitioner with a drive for self-improvement and development.
The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers.
The school is located in well-served location for transport and parking is available onsite.
