Tradewind are currently working with a wonderful school, situated near York, who are looking for a long term teacher in their MFL department, specialising in teaching German. This is due to start directly after half term (02/11/2020), and is anticipated to last until the end of the academic year. This is a full time vacancy, and payment will be in line with MPS. We are looking for a teacher who specialises in teaching German, and can teach this subject to A level.

The school in question is a large, private school, situated on the outskirts of York, which enjoys a fantastic reputation for student development (both academic and personal). Due to the schools location, it is most easily accessed via car, and it has a large onsite car park with ample parking spaces for cars. You will be teaching in an environment that fosters and nurtures: development, curiosity and above all the love of education. This is a unique opportunity to teach at a school that will give you the opportunity to explore your love of language, and encourage this in your students.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has experience teaching the following:
* GCSE German
* A Level German
* KS3 Spanish

As you will be teaching A Level German, we are looking for a practitioner who has an outstanding grasp of the language, and has experience teaching to A Level students (or the ability to do so). You will be teaching students who are operating at a high level, and who require a teacher who will stretch and challenge them. Teaching until half term will be mainly on-site, but there will be elements of online learning taking place. Experience working over Zoom/Microsoft Teams is ideal but in no way essential for this position. Teaching Spanish to KS3 students will be a small portion of the timetable, so if you do not have experience in this, please do not be deterred from applying, and there may be potential to change timetables with existing staff members to compensate for this.
