Tradewind are currently looking for a Health and Social care teacher to work in a good school in Grimsby, to teach on a full time basis. The school appreciates the value and the transferrable skills the subject offers, and are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and can inspire students to success in it. This position will begin in February half term and will be a maternity cover, so will last until at least the end of the summer term. If the candidate enjoys the role, and makes a good impression, then there will be a permanent job available in September.

If a candidate applying is able to teach science to KS3 this would be a huge advantage, however it is not essential. You will be part of a successful science department that is very welcoming to all staff members. This is a full time position, but for the right candidate it may be possible to have a four day working week. We would also welcome applications from science teachers who have some experience of teaching Health and Social Care.

This position will be full time and pay will be scaled to MPS, meaning a teacher can expect to earn between £120 and £180 per day for this position. The school is looking for a teacher who can guide students through their Health and Social care coursework, and inspire students to continue with the subject post-school.

Having a strong 'student centred' approach, the school encourages applicants from nurturing practitioners who enjoy getting the best out of their students. They also welcome applications from practitioners who have worked at post-16 level, who can use their excellent subject knowledge to teach KS4 students.

The school has free onsite parking for those who drive, but due to the location of the school it is easily accessible via public transport.
