This academy, located in Greenwich is a vibrant and exciting place to work and was graded as Good by OFSTED in 2015 and again in 2018. They are seeking a Science teacher on a one-year contract with a view to making the role permanent in 2021.

The successful candidate will:
*A Science teacher who can offer engaging lessons which stretch, support and challenge students
*Be able to precisely assess the development and achievement of students, groups and provide appropriate provision to ensure progress of all is maximised
*Be a committed teacher with an unfaltering belief that all students deserve an outstanding education
*Uphold the inclusive ethos adopted by the school and will provide opportunities for all students to progress well
This role will provide a challenging, yet exciting opportunity for an ambitious practitioner wishing to further develop their career and build upon the existing track record of success within a Science Department. There is an opportunity to make a real impact on further driving up attainment and progress in Science education.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
