Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by an 11 to 19 secondary school in South Essex to assist them in finding a qualified Science Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach inspiring Science lessons to very well behaved KS3 and KS4 students. With experienced teachers within the Science department, the successful teacher could specialise in either Chemistry, Biology or Physics. NQT's are also welcome to apply and will be offered suitable support.

This Ofsted rated 'Good' school with 'Outstanding' behaviour has consistently progressed in recent years. There is a calm environment throughout the school with teachers modelling high expectations. Activities are always interesting and teachers use a variety of effective techniques to help students develop their understanding.

The successful Science Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons and ensuring progress
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
A positive and personable role model for their class

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
