Teacher Of the Deaf - Consultancy

October 2023 - December 2023
Salary: MPS4 - UPS3 with SEN allowance

Are you a qualified Teacher of the Deaf TOD looking for a new opportunity? Or perhaps you're got a gap in your diary of 3 months and would enjoy returning to the work place in an advisory capacity.

If so, do you fancy overseeing a case load of primary and SEN schools across the London Borough of Redbridge with the support of a team. The role is about sharing expertise and ensuring those pupils across the borough with a hearing impairment are getting the correct support to ensure progression.

About the Role:

The role is to work across several Redbridge schools supporting a caseload of children. Some children you would see weekly, some termly and of course some in between, depending upon their requirements.

When not in school, you'd be working from home with our client setting you up to do so successfully.

This role is ideal for a TOD looking to share their talent with a wider community.

To join the team and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Hold a TOD qualification along with QTS

By registering with SANZA Teaching Agency, we can offer you:

  • We attract top education talent and in return offer top rates of pay
  • We care about your training and development more than any other agency - which is why we can offer you more certified CPD courses than any other education recruitment agency, 30 to be exact! That's 23 more than our next nearest competitor
  • Great referral scheme - recommend a friend and earn a brilliant bonus!
  • Full interview preparation and assistance - so you're fully prepped and confident, increasing your chances of success
  • Help with lesson planning - our support doesn't stop once we've secured you a placement
  • Online Portal for your timesheets and log your availability
  • Free social and networking events to get to know your peers and consultants
