👂 The Role:
As a Teacher of the Deaf (ToD) in Year 1, you will play a pivotal role in the educational journey of our deaf and hard of hearing students. Your mission will be to create an inclusive, accessible, and inspiring classroom environment where every child can flourish.
🌟 Responsibilities Include:
Providing specialized teaching and support for deaf and hard of hearing students in Year 1.
Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, speech and language therapists, and other support staff.
Using appropriate technology and resources to facilitate communication and learning.
Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity.
Ensuring that all students have equal access to the curriculum and extracurricular activities.

📚 Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and additional ToD qualification.
Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students.
