Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement engaging and effective teaching and learning activities.
2. Contribute to the development and preparation of creative and inclusive learning resources.
3. Provide support for individual and small group learning activities, catering to the diverse needs of students.
4. Foster positive relationships with students, creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
6. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance the overall success of the classroom and school community.
7. Offer valuable feedback to teachers regarding student progress and engagement.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
2. Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions effectively.
5. Patient and nurturing approach toward supporting students' learning.
6. Familiarity with basic classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
7. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
