Tradewind are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in Bromley. This Teaching Assistant role is starting September 2020 initially mornings only 5 days a week increasing to a full time contract as the child settles in school and current situations return to normal. The pay scale will based on experience between £70 - £85 per full day worked and this will initially be a contract for 1 year.

This position is within the Early Years setting which is a Nursery class and two Reception Classes. This student is joining the school in September 2020 and the plan is to integrate him into school at the right pace so that he feels settled and safe, learning more each day. The successful candidate will have a calm and caring attitude, encouraging more and more from the student as they feel more comfortable. This student already has an EHCP for Speech and Language difficulties so someone with experience in this area and beneficial would also be experience using PECs. The student is also undergoing further assessment for social communication difficulties and Autism.

The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK. We will require two references from you on Registration. Experience working with SEN students especially with Speech and Language, Autism and other communication difficulties is desired.


The school is located in Bromley, not far from the border with Greenwich and close to two train stations by bus. Parking would be available for the successful candidate.
