Job: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Location: Croydon

You will play an important role in fostering a love for learning in the classroom, supporting students to understand the lesson and achieve their best in collaboration with the teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Support Students: Work collaboratively with teachers to provide effective support to students, ensuring an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
• Learn and understand SEND: Develop your understanding on how to support students with SEND, tailoring assistance to individual needs and promoting a positive learning experience.
• Classroom Assistance: Provide additional support for students who may need extra help, with the direction of the teacher.
• Behavioural Support: Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, offering guidance to students as needed.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
• Understanding and experience in working with students with SEND (this can be developed over time through CPD delivered by the school)
• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable.
• DBS on the update service (this can be arranged through Tradewind)
