Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Primary Teaching Assistant in Greenwich? Looking for a new role in September 2020?

Tradewind are currently recruiting a passionate primary teaching assistant for a wonderful school in Greenwich. The role is a full-time 1 year contract and the pay scale will be dependent on experience between £70-£90 per day. Part time 4 days per week could be considered.

This large 3 form entry Primary School currently rated Good by OFSTED has a great reputation in the area as a provider of an excellent education. They live and breathe 4 key values across the school that drive all they do. These values are embedded in the schools success and are visual throughout the school on the walls of the corridors and classrooms.

The role will be to provide 1 to 1 care for a student that will be joining the school in the new school year. The child doesn't currently have an EHCP but it is something that they believe will come in the future. The child needs help and support with accessing the curriculum in class. He will join in Year 4 but is learning at the level of a Year 2. The right candidate will be someone that can keep the student focused on task and be fair in their approach, understanding of the needs of this child and allowing them to continue to learn in the classroom environment without disruption.

This role is suited to someone with experience of working 1 to 1 and with children with SEN. A background knowledge of the curriculum is beneficial but not essential. You must have the legal right to work in the UK. A knowledge or experience of working with ASC would also be beneficial to the role.
