Tradewind are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in the borough of Hackney. Our lovely primary schools are looking for experienced and professional teaching assistants to work from September 2020 on either a daily supply, short-term or long-term basis, with opportunities of permanent roles for the right candidate.


Responsibilities to include:

· Supporting pupils throughout the class

· Guiding and helping them to make good progress in key areas

· Flexibility and willingness to take on all challenges

· Preparing the classroom for lessons

· Supervising group activities

· Supporting the classroom teacher in managing class behaviour

· Helping pupils who need extra support to complete tasks



In order to be considered for a teaching assistant position, you will need to display the following:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Good level of numeracy, literacy, written and verbal communication

· Ability to contribute towards the planning, monitoring, evaluating and record keeping of pupils

· Encourage a mutual respect amongst pupils and staff
