This lovely primary school in Barnet borough, North London is seeking a brilliant Teaching Assistant to start in September.

This school is very well organised, with a great leadership team and you will soon be welcomed in as a valued member of the school community.



They are seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class, ideally with a minimum of 1 years' experience, although they will consider outstanding graduates. The duties will be that of a general Teaching Assistant and there will also be some learning support and on occasions, working 1:1 with pupils who require additional input for a variety of reasons.



You should be a very good communicator, with excellent levels of spoken and written English as many pupils at the school have English as an additional language, so you will be modelling English to them. You will need to be able to follow instructions carefully as you will be working independently, but also have a good initiative and be able to plan activities own on occasions.

You should be patient, self-motivated and with a good team spirit. A good sense of humour is essential.



Your hours of work will be 8.30am- 4.00pm with 45 minutes lunch, Daily Rate £70-75.



The school has parking available and is well served by public transport.



The role is due to start in September, although they may bring this forward, depending on when schools reopen after the present shutdown.

Ideally have at least one years' experience working in a school
Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable
Be able to set clear boundaries and expectations of behaviour
You must have the right to work in the UK and hold a DBS check
