Tradewind are currently working alongside a large Brent Primary School to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their forward thinking and successful environment. This will be a full-time role commencing September 2020. The role will be for the full academic year until July 2021. Working hours for this role will be 8:30am - 4:00pm.

The three-form entry primary school located in Neasden, Brent are well known in the local community for the wonderful ethos and spirit where children are placed at the centre. The school's curriculum is innovative and inspires the love of learning in pupils. Staff work very well with one another and provide one another with ongoing support. Behaviour across school is very good.

The school are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic practitioner who will share the schools love for teaching and learning and make lessons fun, engaging and academically stimulating. Previous experience working in an educational setting along with experience supporting pupils with special educational needs is required for this role.

The successful candidate will be required to support teaching and learning to all pupils in the class and regularly provide 1:1 support for learners with special educational needs across. Your main responsibilities will include delivering intervention programmes either 1:1 or in small groups, working as part of a team to ensure the well-being, behaviour and personal development and provide lunchtime supervision.

Parking is available for all staff who wish to drive. Alternatively, the school is located near the Metropolitan Underground station.

The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks.
