Key Responsibilities:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
• Providing one-on-one support for students in the class including guiding classwork, reading, and phonics activities
• Assisting in developing teaching materials and learning resources
• Fostering a safe and supportive learning environment
• Collaborating with teachers to ensure a productive classroom, including leading small group activities and proactively supporting classroom management with clean-up and set-up

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Previous child-based experience, preferably as a teaching assistant
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• Able to work effectively as a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications is desirable
• An Enhanced DBS, or the willingness to undergo one
