We are recruiting! Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Cheltenham?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking, compassionate & patient Teaching Assistant with experience working with children across KS3 & KS4. The school is based in Cheltenham. The classes are mixed ability groups and experience working with young people is desired. The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30am to 3:30pm term time only. The school are looking for someone to start ASAP.

There will be further opportunities to work in schools in and around Gloucestershire
We are looking for:
*NVQ2 for teaching assistant or equivalent qualifications or experience working with children in a school environment or similar.
*Experience working within a secondary school setting or with secondary aged students.
*Someone who can communicate effectively & with strong behaviour management skills
*An enthusiastic individual with high organisational skills and a willingness to learn on the job
*Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom

You will be expected to support the teacher with daily classroom activities and provide opportunities to make a difference to the pupils learning. There may be some 1:1 work also.

*Experience working in a school environment or similar setting
