Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience looking for an immediate opportunity in Darwen?

Tradewind is working with a 'Good' Darwen Primary school to support a range of pupils with behaviour and additional needs. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Level 2 or 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a full-time role with an immediate start. This position is to start immediately and is until July 2020.

This role is within a one-form entry primary school with a strong Christian ethos, this schools ambition is to build the confidence, resilience and drive that helps children grow into happy, successful, and passionate. The school is passionate in providing a broad and balanced creative curriculum. The school is seeking a hardworking and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team of committed and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate for this role has a Level 2 or 3 Qualification who has had a minimum of 12 months supporting pupils with SEN.

The successful candidate will be required to support the class teacher with planning for activities and lesson's and liaise with the SENDCO when appropriate. In addition, you will also be required to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupil with complex and additional needs. You must also have an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

The School is in Darwen and is easily accessible via public transport and is close to motorway links.
