SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking a Teaching Assistant with BSL to start immediately.
An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant of the deaf to join a specialist provision attached to a primary school in Lambeth.
The successful applicant will report to the Deaf Support Base manager and ideally will be qualified and competent with British Sign Language.
At this primary school; Deaf Support Base pupils with a range of hearing losses develop effective communication skills and achieve good academic outcomes. They also have a total communication policy and aim to include pupils in all aspects of the curriculum and the life of the school.

The successful applicant will:
* have a sound understanding of the impact of hearing impairment on learning
* Demonstrate competence with British Sign Language
* have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and
* promote effective, inclusive education for deaf pupils
