Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Primary Teaching Assistant to join a very popular school in Garstang to support year 4 children. The role is to start in 7th June 2021 until July 2021, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. The role is to work 5 mornings and 2 afternoons a week.

This Primary school is Ofsted rated outstanding and caters for approx.210 pupils across ages 4-11, the school aims to work in partnership with parents to ensure all students are achieving the best they can in a high-quality learning environment. All staff at the school share the ambition and drive to keep improving the school and encouraging pupils to achieve the best results they can and enjoy their time in School.

The Headteacher provides clear leadership. She has high ambitions for the school and equally high expectations of all staff. Teamwork is strong across the school and everybody works together. The school has strong links with parents, carers and the community. Behaviour in the school is good, and students are respectful of each other and of the adults in the school. The staff all work together to provide a caring, nurturing environment in which their learners will be supported to achieve their potential.

The ideal candidate for this Year 4 Teaching Assistant role will:

• Be Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified or equivalent
• Have experience working in KS2 and strong behaviour management
• Have experience of delivering interventions
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
