Tradewind is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant looking to work with students in Year 3. This role is to work with two children with SEN needs in a mainstream Primary school in Greenwich - contact Tradewind now if this is the post for you!
Salary = £70-90 per day
**About the role**
This role is to work with two students in Year 3 that have EHCP plans. One of the students has challenging behaviours so someone with a firm and fair approach, who is strong with their behaviour management techniques and sets clear boundaries. The other child is learning at a much lower level than Year 3 and has social communication difficulties so needs help boosting their confidence and building a strong bond and relationship.

This mainstream primary School is based in Greenwich with a 3 form entry intake. The SENCO and Assistant Head is very supportive and puts in a lot of training and development with staff to ensure they can provide the best care for the students. There is usually the opportunity to shadow other experienced staff as well. They're a friendly and inclusive school that welcome all from any background. They want the successful candidate to be hardworking, bring a positive attitude to work and also have a sense of humour, its important that you fit in with the other staff as you'll spend a lot of time working together so the staff bond as well as student bond are very important.

You must have previous school based experience of working with students with SEN. Its desirable you hold a Teaching Assistant qualification such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 but not essential. This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks. You must have the legal right to work in the UK
