Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich, London
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Pay Range: £80.00 - £100.00 per day (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service
- Enthusiasm for supporting students' academic and personal development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance
- Help create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as directed by the SENCO or teacher
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational resources
- Supervise students during class activities and ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and provide feedback
