SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a two-form entry Primary School who is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This two-form entry Primary School is based in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and is rated 'Outstanding' through their recent Ofsted inspection.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role is a long-term opportunity and is due to start in immediately for a full academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract for September 2021. The annual salary for this position is £15,600 - £21,500

The school is based in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham with exceptional transport links and parking available for all staff. The leadership team pride themselves for their links to the community and their exceptionally well-resourced school with ample space for extracurricular activities.
For this role you will be working in Year 6 as an SEN Teaching Assistant with a student at risk of exclusion due to persistent disruption in class and is awaiting a diagnosis of ADHD. This pupil is unable to learn and as a result is working well below what he is capable of in reading, writing and maths. This student is not physically aggressive towards adults and knows that there are certain boundaries that must not be crossed This is a role suited for an SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of working in either a challenging mainstream environment KS2 and KS3, a behaviour unit attached to a mainstream setting, or in a Primary PRU.

This school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is:

*Exceptionally strong behaviour management skills
*Be able to student this student during core subjects
*Have track record in interventions and able to work on handwriting, phonics and spellings
*You will be self-sufficient, self-reliant and able to manage a challenging pupil on their own
*Be able to work Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.00
