The role will involve supporting him with the class for morning sessions and you will also be involved in the class activities with the whole class during the afternoons.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
*Recent experience working in KS1
*Has a good experience supporting children with Autism
*Ideally will have experience using any of the following;
PECS, Makaton, Now and Next boards, Lego therapy, ABA therapy, play therapy, speech and language
*Must be available full time, 5 days per week
The person
This role requires someone who is:
*Caring, friendly, patient and a team player
*Has experience working in with children who have Autism

The role
Teaching Assistant for year 1
1-1support for a pupil in the year 1 class who has Autism
The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a positive atmosphere in the school. The year 1 class is open planned and well resourced, with iPads and a brand new outdoor area designed especially for the school.
