Tradewind Recruitment are working with a progressive, inclusive and nurturing Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team in January. These Graduate Teaching Assistant positions will be offered on a full time, long term basis and will run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - Graduate Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*As a graduate Teaching Assistant you will be assigned a group of key students across KS3, KS4 and KS5 who require additional support to reach their full potential. These students will have varying needs including special educational needs, learning or behavioural difficulties
*You will be working closely with the class teachers, SENCO and Inclusion Team Members to plan, prepare and deliver bespoke learning activities for your students, differentiate lesson plans and run out of classroom interventions to individual or small groups of students
*You will need to e a positive, encouraging and motivating individual who can build rapport with students and work as part of a team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students fell values and excited to learn

About the candidate - Graduate Teaching Assistant - Harrow:
*The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree (minimum) in any discipline and aspire to train as a Secondary Teacher in the near future
*You will be a hardworking, dedicated and motivated individual who is friendly, approachable and patient
*Building and maintaining rapport with students is essential; the successful candidate will be confident in their communication and interpersonal skills
*A graduate who has experience working with children such as tutoring, youth work or mentoring would particularly suit this position. Prior experience is not strictly essential as all training will be provided.

Serviced by the Bakerloo and Metropolitan lines as well as local buses, this school is easily accessible from all areas of North West and Central London and the Hertfordshire border. Street parking is also available for drivers.
