Modern, inclusive, mainstream Secondary School in Harrow, North West London - ASAP start - Full time, Long Term Contract - Open to all secondary subject graduates with recent qualification and strong A-Levels - £70 - £75 per day based on experience

The School - Graduate Teaching Assistant - Harrow, North West London:

Based in central Harrow, with excellent transport links to the rest of North West London and the Hertfordshire border, Tradewind is working with an inclusive, modern, mainstream Secondary School who are passionate about providing a rounded education to all its students. With a plethora of academic, sports, arts, and creative enrichment programmes, students are encouraged to pursue all of their passions. With a large, passionate inclusion team, all students are provided with the tools and support that their individual needs require to reach their full potential and equip them with the skills to become passionate members of society upon the completion of their secondary schooling.

The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant - Harrow, North West London

This role will see you join the inclusion team, supporting students with Special Educational Needs and other individual needs in KS3 and KS4. You will provide bespoke, tailored intervention to these students both in the classroom and within specialised interventions.

Following direction from the class teachers, SENCo and Intervention Managers, you will create differentiated lesson plans for your students and provide them with the support and encouragement they need to gain the confidence to eventually learn independently.

With a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, you will support your key students across the curriculum. There will also be an opportunity to work within the department of your specialist subject.
