SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Kensington

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm

Start date: ASAP

End date: July 2024

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

Tradewind are on the search for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a brilliant primary school based in the lovely borough of Kensington & Chelsea. This position involves supporting a pupil in Year 3 with medical needs, and speech and language difficulties on a one to one basis.

This role is ideal for you if you are a someone with experience supporting children with complex needs - either inside OR outside of a classroom setting. We are looking for someone with a gentle, nurturing and empathetic approach to support this child. If you are looking for a role where you can work directly with a child on a 1:1 basis and be an integral part of their development, this is the role for you!

Requirements:

• SEN TA experience is ideal but not essential
• Experience supporting children in Early Years
• Experience, or willingness to work with SEN pupils
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
