We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a local primary school in Hull. The role will be supporting children who have mainly Autism and speech and language and communication difficulties.

As SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an inspiring role model, you shall have previous experience in a similar role and have a confident and positive approach, demonstrating care, patience and understanding towards young children with a genuine passion to ensure each student strives to reach their full potential

The position will be 121 and in small groups with pupils ranging from 5 - 11 years. The roles will begin after February Half Term on an ongoing basis. The school is easily accessible via car and on public transport links.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
*Minimum level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification .
*Experience of working in KS1 & KS2.
*Excellent English skills (clear written and spoken English) along with good reading, writing and numeracy skills.
*The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
*Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly children on the Autism Spectrum.
*Experience of working with children and the ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour are desirable for the role.
*The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential.
