The Governors of a Norris Green-based Primary School seek to appoint a well-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team.

Possessing substantial Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) / Key Stage 1 (KS1) experience, the successful candidate will:
*Be able to demonstrate high standards of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills;
*Be experienced in working with children/young people with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties, and associated behavioural difficulties;
*Have the ability to relate well to children and adults;
*Be able to work as part of a team;
*Have an understanding of the role of the Teaching Assistant and other professionals working in the classroom;
*Have an understanding of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies;
*Have basic understanding of child development and learning;
*Have a willingness to undertake first aid training as appropriate.
