We are recruiting for a community school in Childwall, located within commutable distance of Liverpool, Knowsley, St. Helens, Halton and Sefton. The unique and innovative primary school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and the ability to meet the needs of all pupils in order for them to reach their full potential. Through a stimulating and dynamic curriculum, staff provide pupils with an environment where they are valued, encouraged and inspired. The building houses 180 children as well as state of the art facilities, including: a large sports hall, a multi-functional media suite and a purpose-built nursery.

Working alongside the chair of governors, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join the team and work closely with staff to provide positive learning experiences for all pupils. The role will suit somebody with previous experience in the classroom, although we will also consider those with no formal teaching experience who possess a related qualification. An enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative attitude is a must, as well as the ability to communicate well with pupils, carers and members of staff.

The successful candidate will possess:
*An understanding of the workings within an educational setting.
*A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this.
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Commitment to a possible 12-month assignment.
