The Location:
This East London Primary School is located close to Maryland and Stratford Train Stations. The Jubilee, Central and the DLR run through Stratford and the District/Hammersmith and City lines run through. There are parking restrictions in the area surrounding the school but the number 25 and 86 bus routes pass close to the school.

The School:
This East London Primary School is a two and a half form entry school which is growing into a three-form entry school by the 2020-2021 academic year. The school is a part of a multi-cultural community which celebrates diversity and welcome students of all faiths and backgrounds. The Candidate:
The successful applicant for this full time and long term KS2 Teaching Assistant role must have experience supporting KS2 lessons and be at least trained to CACHE Level 2. Every applicant must be able to commit to a long-term placement and be able to work from 8.30-4.00 five days a week.
Strong interpersonal skills and good communication will help candidates stand out for this role, and an understanding of SEN is important.

The Role:
*Supporting classes across KS2 as a general teaching assistant to make sure that students make continual progress.
*Listening to students read and working with small groups to provide intervention to those who require additional support.
*Assisting with the planning of lessons and preparing the classroom daily for any activities and work scheduled for the students.
*Supporting the class teacher with marking and tracking progress of students.
*Developing students' understanding of theories and concepts in the curriculum.
