Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Youth Worker seeking an exciting new opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Oldham starting in February 2024 for the entire academic year. In this role, you will be providing support to key students in both KS1 and KS2 within mainstream classes, offering both academic and pastoral assistance.
The working hours for this position are from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with students exhibiting SEN or challenging behaviour
- Encouragement for candidates with a background in youth work to apply

To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to provide:
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
